Stainless-Steel Cable Railings, Portfolio #14

This is a custom stainless-steel cable railing we built for a client with a unique backyard / deck area. This property contained a pool, wooden deck and concrete seated on various elevations. We had to major goals in this project. The first is safety: we needed to make sure that the railing could prevent accidents, such as stepping off the elevated platforms, or slipping on a wet day / after a dip in the pool. The second goal is aesthetics: we went with a minimalist design to compliment the simple and clean design surrounding the backyard.

Materials and Specs:

• 180 grit grained 304 stainless steel
• 1x2 stainless-steel handrail
• 1x2 stainless steel cap
• 2x2 posts
• we used 1/8th stainless steel cables with low profile hardware
• all the cables are cut and crimped by us onsite for custom configurations.
